Generous Portions and Heartfelt Hospitality – A Family Favorite! 🍻🍔✨ ​We returned to Village Brewing Company for our second visit, and it was just as impressive as the first. This time, my partner and I brought my grandmother and a friend along, and the experience was truly wonderful for everyone involved. ​The Food & Portions: The kitchen here really understands value. One of the first things you’ll notice is the generous portions, they definitely do not hold back! ​The Entrees: Everything served was hot, fresh, and bursting with flavor. ​The Crowd Favorite: Most importantly, my grandmother absolutely loved her dish. Seeing her enjoy her meal so much made the visit even more memorable. Whether you're here for their elevated brewpub fare or a hearty dinner, the quality is consistent across the table. ​The Atmosphere: The vibe at Village Brewing is the perfect blend of casual and lively. It’s spacious enough for a group but still feels intimate enough for a family conversation. The rustic, industrial-chic decor creates a great energy that makes you want to stay a while. ​The Service: The staff was incredibly accommodating to our group. They were patient, kind, and made sure our table had everything we needed. The ambience is perfect for a night out or a quiet business meeting. The drinks are perfectly made. As for the food if you prefer bland then you will love it. I personally prefer some seasoning and spices so for that reason I gave it a 4 star. It was well cooked and nicely put together. Presentation and service was really good.

Thank you to the entire team at Village Brewing Company. We had our baby shower held there for our third child and they went above and beyond. Gave us full access to the venue and accommodated us with any of our needs. Allowed me to set up and even helped with inputs and guided insights on creating an open flow! Food was amazing! Still getting raves from our guests! Thank you guys again and being a local from Somerville definitely spreading the word! Highly recommend.

This brewery is in the neighborhood of my job so I frequent quite often for lunch. I’ve personally never had a bad meal here; the pulled pork sliders and truffle fries are so good! There is a large selection of craft beers and the cocktails are also mixed very well. Nate has been my server on quite a few occasions and his attention to his customers is fantastic and one of the reasons why I continue to come back!

Last night (11/29) my family of 4 came in after shopping for Small Business Saturday. We had such a great time! Our server Marilyn was fantastic. She knew what we were going to need/ask for before the words could come out of our mouths. We have not had great service post-Covid in many places in Somerset and Hunterdon. Having been in the industry for decades myself, Marilyn was a breath of fresh air, or maybe nostalgia is a better word, to a different time where customer service was the center of attention in restaurants. Service was fast, food was fantastic, and the atmosphere felt like something you wanted to be a part of- it was buzzing but not overwhelmingly crowded (also it was 5:30). I’m going to dream of that Butternut Squash flatbread for days to come. It was out of this world and what I wish could have been on our table at Thanksgiving instead lol. My boys enjoyed their kids burgers and fries (fries were fantastic) and my husband said his crispy chicken sandwich was on point. Beers were ice cold, Marilyn kept our glasses full. She was patient at the checkout process when I had a Yiftee gift card that we had won from Downtown Somerville Alliance that we had to figure out how to redeem. My phone has a bulky case and the card reader wasn’t recognizing it at the register. She was patient as could be during a busy dinner service as we found the card number on the Yiftee website to redeem. In a world where most people only reach out/review to complain, I just wanted to reach out to say thank you and to say how great our experience was thanks to Marilyn and how great our time in Village was yesterday. At the time of day we went, it was definitely kid-friendly and my kids really liked the design of the kid menu and the activities they had on there for Thanksgiving. We will absolutely be back!
