As a strong supporter of local businesses, it's disheartening to share a less than satisfactory experience, but I believe it's important to be honest about my visit to Connie's Music Center. Firstly, locating the store during its operational hours was a challenge due to its unpredictable schedule. When I finally managed to visit, I was in the market for a new accordion. I spoke to the owner, who mentioned having two accordions – one with 12 buttons (broken) and another with 120 buttons. However, she refused to show either, claiming they were reserved for other customers. This seemed odd as typically, a 12-button accordion is suited for beginners, whereas a 120-button one is for advanced players. It's unlikely that a customer would be interested in both. During my brief time in the store, I felt unwelcome. The owner, while watching my wife and me closely, hurried us along, suggesting we return another day. It was evident that she preferred us to leave rather than browse. This experience left me questioning the sincerity of the store's commitment to customer service. If a local business isn't open to supporting potential customers, it's hard to understand how they can thrive. The positive reviews online now seem suspect to me, possibly coming from friends rather than genuine customers. The store itself was quite deserted, which further adds to my doubts. While I would typically wish a local business the best, this encounter makes it difficult. A successful business should welcome and value its customers, something I felt was missing at Connie's Music Center.

Connie’s music center is wonderful. I came there yesterday to drop off my guitar to get it restrung and picked it up today and Lill wanted to make sure I was happy with the work and even checked it and tuned the strings again before she cut the strings (she said the strings stretch when being strung so it needs to be checked). She also complimented my guitar and said that she was happy to work on such a beautiful instrument and wanted to take extra care of it. It was also more affordable than other places and fair in the price! I’m new to the area and I already feel like it’s home and to have a local music store so welcoming and friendly is such a blessing! She had students for the next 2 hours when I was leaving and I can see why people come there for music lessons! Come check out the store for yourself! Great and very warm 😊.

Connie's Music Center is amazing! She was more than willing to fix my old violin for an extremely reasonable price. It was fixed so fast and has been working great ever since. Her kindness and professionalism were through the roof and she was very easy to work with and communicate with. Would recommend this place to anyone!

I Cannot say enough GREAT things about Connie’s music center!!! my daughter rented a violin from there for three years . They are so kind, helpful and very generous !! So understanding to a mom’s schedule & also affordable!! We plan to go back for the next two kids to try out their musical interests as well:)

I remember taking percussion lessons at Connie's back in Spring 1995! One of their relatives, an elderly gentleman,came into the classroom, and played "Let It Be" on the piano. That song was my practice song. Maybe it was a subtle hint for me to put percussion lessons on the side. 2024... perhaps Connie's would purchase my Ludwig Drum kit?
